Our Mission is to allow the work of our hands to embrace, encourage and inspire the beauty and betterment of those we encounter throughout our education and career.

Our History

Berea Beauty Academy has been a leader in cosmetology education for almost 10 years. Our school was established in 2016 to help inspire students to achieve their career goals in the beauty industry by creating a culture of excellence so that students may successfully pass their licensure exams and find gainful employment in the beauty industry. We have a proven track record of helping students achieve their dreams of becoming successful cosmetologists.

We are a Title IV trade school licensed by the Kentucky Board of Cosmetology and accredited by NACCAS. We offer a 1500-hour Cosmetology program and a 750-hour Apprentice Instructor program, with both full-time and part-time options available. Our programs are approved by the Department of Education to receive Title IV funding, providing students with the opportunity to pursue their dreams in the hair and beauty industry. We understand that our students have busy lives, which is why we offer flexible scheduling options. We have day and evening classes available, making it easy for students to fit their education into their schedule.

Berea Beauty Academy is the ideal setting for your professional education. The facility is approximately 3000+ square feet of educational space including a student salon patron service clinic, along with theory and practical learning areas for our programs.

The school operates year-round with scheduled holiday observances and or school closings. Schedules may vary by program and or change based on changes in enrollment, staffing or as needed to maintain educational quality.

Upon graduation the student will receive a Berea Beauty Academy graduate diploma. After graduation requirements have been met, the student must sit for and pass the applicable Kentucky State Board of Cosmetology licensing examinations, theory & practical. The school offers academic and graduate employment advisement to students through internal job boards, recommendations, referrals, internal/external career days and by containing local relationships with salons and other beauty related employers; however, the school does not guarantee employment, only assistance.
